0845 Local Rate Numbers
Why Should I Have an 0845 Number?
0845
local rate numbers are one of the best marketing tools
around.
Marketing studies have shown that customers
are three times more likely to dial an 0845 number than an
ordinary landline.
0845
numbers are "non-geographic" numbers (NGN), rather like
0870 and 0871. They are national, permanent numbers for
life. When someone calls you, the call is routed to any UK
landline (that is, any number beginning 01 or 02) - you
choose. Your caller pays only the cost of a local rate phone
call.
Your
caller has no idea whether you are in Liverpool, London,
Abersoch or Aberdeen. This gives you a truly national reach.
You can take the number with you when you move offices. And
since Oftel has already pre-assigned 0846 and 0847 numbers,
you can be certain that there will be no Big Number Change
for many years - never change your stationery again!
What Does It Cost?
Our
0845 numbers are available for just £25+VAT per
quarter, with no set-up charge - that's less than the cost
of renting another line. And unlike BT, you don't pay any
per-minute charge.

your customer's call again.
Some
of our customers actually rent 0845 numbers for personal
use, so that friends and relatives all over the country can
keep in touch more easily.
